I have been working on this series of sculptures over the last decade of my life. Since an early part of my career while working for Laddie John Dill I realized that I truly enjoyed working with sculpture. And working alongside Laddie and his crew made working on large scale projects with many different materials a lot less intimidating for myself. Working with the elements of the series; metal, wood and the many materials I use for my pigments is very gratifying. I feel each piece is molded and finds its own personality as I’m going through the many different phases it takes to create the final piece.
